The last month of your pregnancy is when you’re brimming with excitement and full of anticipation about meeting the newest member of your family. Our maternity photography sessions are soft yet strong, empowering of both mother and child, and a treasured keepsake of this beautiful moment in your journey to parenthood.

The Maternity Photography Experience

A 60 – 90 minute maternity photography session is $200 and includes:

 

  • A pre-shoot planning session either via phone or zoom to help you plan, style and prepare for your maternity photography.
  • The photography session – your choice of a 60 minute session at Tortuga Studios in St Peters, Sydney OR at a nearby park or Sydney beach.
  • Use of our props and fabrics
  • The reveal session – The big reveal in the studio where you’ll see your beautiful family images. We’ll help you choose the best artwork to display your family photos.
  • BONUS – Book a newborn session and get a complimentary 30-minute studio maternity photography session.

Before Your Materntiy Photos

We’ll chat over the phone to discuss the style of photos you’d like for your maternity session.

We have a few tips to help you prepare for your maternity shoot and to help you rock your maternity session.

 

  • Wear your favourite jewellery. Jewellery on bare skin looks amazing, especially when your hands are cradling your baby belly.
  • If you’re having an outdoor session, the best time for your maternity photos is around sunset. Our favourite locations are in the water, in nature and in the forest.
  • Flowing fabric looks amazing and can be draped around you to create movement in your photos.
  • Lace gowns, boy-leg shorts, crop tops or maternity lingerie look fabulous and are a great way to show off your beautiful baby belly.
  • Before your maternity photos, exfoliate your skin, moisturise and use some body oil to add an extra shimmer to your belly.
  • Add your partner and kids to your maternity photos. After all, a new baby is an exciting time for everyone.

We’ll capture your beautiful round baby belly and the joy and excitement of your impending new arrival.

It’s also the perfect time to include your partner and children to celebrate your new baby’s impending arrival.

Design + Ordering Appointment

It’s time to get excited!

After your maternity session you’ll view your beautiful gallery of photos in a slideshow and view custom designed artwork of your images.

We’ll help you choose your favourite images and show you the best artwork to display your photos around your home.

Your design and ordering appointment is best done in-person in our Sydney studio, however, a Zoom viewing can be arranged if you’re unable to return to the studio.

Digital and Fine Art Print Collections start from $650

Luxury Framed Artwork start from $395

A minimum 30% payment is due at the time of ordering with balance due upon collection.

 

Collecting Your Artwork

This is the most exciting part of the whole maternity photography experience.

We’ll let you know soon as your artwork is ready to collect from our Sydney studio.
